Sous Chef

A new & exciting opportunity has become available as Sous Chef.

Offering a competitive salary of £26,000 plus based on 48 hours, Variable hours will include evenings, weekends & holidays, but at least your situated in a stunning area!

This role is going to suit a chef with enthusiasm bursting out of the seams! You must be ready and capable to develop a team through trust, experience & a great mentality for training. To have a passion for the business and the desire to ensure the companies high standards are always maintained. With a diverse range of cooking you will certainly need to be adaptable. With all that being said this role will be very rewarding as you watch the business grow.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Consistent and prompt preparation and food service
  • Stock ordering and stock rotation
  • Cleanliness of all work areas
  • Completing staff rotas for the kitchen team
  • Ensure published menus and specials boards have correct selling prices
  • Provision of correct portion sizes and control of all waste
  • Comply with all food hygiene regulations

Skills you will need to bring to the chopping board:

  • Catering skills & level 3 food (Desirable)
  • Great communication skills
  • Upbeat “can do” attitude with willingness to develop within your role
  • Driving licence and access to a car (Preferable)

Salary: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

 

Chef De Partie

The role:

– Prepare and cook fresh food from our menu which is changed seasonally.

– Help the head chef and sous chef with their roles within the kitchen

– Maintain a high standard of cleanliness within the kitchen

– Help the head chef & sous chef develop the menu from each season

We need someone with experience in the kitchen, trained chef and able to work flexible working hours throughout the week/weekends.

The role includes 28 days holiday per year and gratuities.

Commis Chef
